Olympic is scheduled for August 13th, 2004 at Athens..before when i was a kid i was really enthu about the games and was always tuned on to the games not only watching at the talents of the atheletes but also watching the tally of golds, silver and bronze won by different countries...but for the past few games i felt it was being dominated by the US..coz all the good atheletes are migrating or they are allowed to move over to earn the gold for the US that is why there is not much interst- there is some lack of competitive spirits but still many teams are giving in their best in the games or maybe something else..

If the roof of the swimming stadium is incomplete by then, those events should be fun to watch. [:p] [}:)]

USA is no.1 on the Gold tally is because of their multi-racial population, chinese can't compete with the blacks on the atheletics routine. If you notice, most sports favour the bigger person, except diving and gymastics. I still pay interst to Olympics to see how good China can do. Should get more than 50 gold medals, would like to watching Diving and Gym. Also, I support Chinese Taipei aka Republic of China, but not Taiwan.

Have you guys seen the Marathon? It is just so unfair that a protestor would bundle the race leader Vanderlei into the crowd. [V] The Brazil Olympic Committee have lodged a complaint with the IOC, but I doubt anything can be done with the result.

yeah ... i saw it in the news.... how annoying [:(!].... inspite of all that ... he was able to stand 3 and win a bronze medal for his country [:)].... !! and he seemed so happy and proud of it !! .. [bow] But its still not fair !! .. i reckon that he should win the gold medal instead of bronze, cause that was totally not his fault .... who would have known that , that was going to take place[:(!]
