| A joint family, I guess. More support. I think one learns to be a more friendly, outgoing and sensitive person if one grows up and lives in a house with lots of people. |

out here in aus ... i dont think that there's anything called "joined-family"[:(] ... everyone live in their own little house ....husband, wife and child/children ... |

| [8D]well joint family has its benefits and its downfalls tooo!!!there is more tension if u live in a joint family and more jealousy and rivalry too sumtimes!!but there is more support and love too sumtimes,cant say its tuff to make a choice [:-?]in this 1!as far a nuclear family goes i believe its ok if u dont want any trouble or tension from ur family and want to live ur own life with ur wife n children,but when ur lonely or in times of trouble u wont have any of ur near ones to support u!!!soo best suggestion would be in this case live in da same city where ur family stays!!!!he!he!he!but live seperately,so dat u have ur own privacy and peace of mind and family support also when needed wont b too far away!!!![*-:)][*-:)][:)>-] |

| i would prefer a nuclear family....in join families,most of the time there is too much rivalry,jealousy and quarrels....besides,you dont get enough privacy.....a nuclear family is more cosy....he he he he....[:)] |

i agree. u don't have ur aunts n uncles n cousins asking u too much. more privacy less noise.[:)] |

In happy times, everyone can get along well and be forgiving. But when the things get harder, I want to squeeze everything out from my uncles, and I shall withstand the hardship with my own nuclear family.
Friends/Relatives can be annoying, but you can never hate your folks.
