When was the site submitted to Google? I see its PageRank is still Zero. Was it also submitted to DMOZ?
Also, a search for "Chinese Indian Tangra Calcutta" brings up, first and foremost, restaurant listings...
And that defunct York U page is still high in the rankings.
Totally  now...

| This site is not submitted. Google will come find this site every few weeks, they say 45 days, so lets get atleast 5 outside referrers to this site and wait till next time Google drop by. We sure to beat that YorkU site.
A search on 'Chinese Indian Tangra Calcutta' will bring up those news site, yes we can't compete with them, they have far more traffic and outside referrers.
But a search on only 'tangra hakka' list it on the 2nd page. I want it to get to the first page and beat the YorkU and other Asianwind sites. The reason YorkU site is no.1 is because it is been listed on many other sites.
And also, the bulk of this site is under membership access, Google can't reach it. |

Someone searching for that term, would already know the existance of this site.

Just saw the home page... its PageRank was Zero just a day or two ago. Now it's up to TWO!!
And a search for indian chinese tangra shows up this site on the FIRST page!! (The forums, though, not the home page...)

just look at the top of the screen or at the bottom of this page when you are viewing this page... and you will know who it belongs to...[;)]
btw a seach on "tangra hakka" in google list the old website http://members.tripod.com/taiwanweb/ in the first place then come YorkU then asiawind and in the fourth place is wowchinese [:(] |

| This is very good. . .
1) Go to Google.com. (www.google.com)
2) Type in "weapons of mass destruction" but don't hit
the enter button.
3) Instead, hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button next to
the normal Google "Search" button.
4) An "ERROR MESSAGE" appears. "READ THE ERROR MESSAGE CAREFULLY".
Read the WHOLE error message.
Someone at Google has a politicial sense of humor ...
but do it before Google fixes it.

| It is not an error. It is a trick by some number of net-users.
We can make weird messages come too for typing 'tangra'.

the "I'm Feeling lucky" button takes you to the 1st site listed for the search..... that site just happens to be listed at number 1 for that search... :) |
