| A kinda stupid question? First of all, what the $$$$ is a Skeith? |
| formosa |
| The answer is 200 lbs. Follow the steps and it will help you answer the question.:)
1. Simplify the question. For the question above you can write it like this.
100 + k/2 = k (k/2 means k divided by 2)
2. Work out! For example you could say:
If half of k + 100 = k then it is like saying k - 100 = k/2. That means that 100 is 1/2 of k.
3 Conclude! You SHOULD say:
100 + k/2 (which is 100) = 200 so therefore the skieth weighs 200 lbs.
3 Simple ways to complete a mathematic Problem! Simplify the question, Work Out and Solve the question! Look for shortcuts!

WOW... ur a maths genius [bow]... I'm pathethic in maths..I almost failed in maths..[:D] |
| thunderbolt |
| how do you come up with such answers? [:-?][:-?] |
| davidli2k |
| Formosa...you're a genius!! ...but what I'm thinking here is ...it can't be that easy.....I already thought of 200 Lbs as the answer a long time ago......my guess is ...it can't be a mathematical question ...it has got to do something with the words ...like "Skeith"..it spells very similar to "Weight" ..maybe it's just a play of the words...
Chinesegirl...this is a simple Math problem..Lemme explain it in an easier way: Suppose we take the weight of Skeith to be "x"..then according to the question, which says Skeith's weight is 100 Lbs plus half of his wt, then "x" should be x=100Lbs + x/2....Thus, the equation is as follows (I have broken down the equation into simple steps so you can easily understand [;)]:
x=100 + x/2...(1)
2x=200 + x ...(2) [Multiplying throughout by 2.]
2x-x=200 (3) [Taking x to the other side of the equation]
Therefore, x=200 Lbs [Ta Da..solved in 3 simple steps]
So do you guys think this is soooooo easy?? [:-?]....
OR ....maybe...just maybe...[:-?] the OP just made a typo in regards to the word "Skeith"....that's the reason why he is refraining to give out the answer (or maybe he wont)...and be made to look like a fool [:-?] ..well...it's just a wild guess...but I've never come across a word like "Skeith" in my entire existence on this planet...or maybe I could be wrong [:I]...Maybe there IS a word like "Skeith".....so OP....could you pleaseeeeeee [[-o<]...pretty please (with a cherry on top) come on out and give us the answer??...you dont want me firing out emails to the Dean of Oxford now..do you?? He's lying. Even though he's lying when he says "everything" he says is a lie, some of the things he says can be a lie, and this is one of them.
OK more more question:
A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."
The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.
In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet? |
