Which hakka restaurant do you guys think is good in toronto? I know that there is a few but personally feel that most of them are about the same. Any comments?

Since I live mostly in Delhi, I don't eat in Hakka restaurants when I'm in Toronto. After all, that's what I'll be having when I get back. [;)] But why don't we list all the Hakka restaurants that exist in the GTA? It'll be good publicity for our fellow immigrants. [>:D<] Locations will do, but preferably name names.

Not a bad idea.......well people come on and name some of ur fave restaurants here....list them down....we can sure go try out someday.

I think Yueh Tung in downtown toronto is pretty good. In scarborough I think China cottage is good...what about you guys?

[:0] I think I've actually been to China Cottage, Kimling, Lin Garden and Lucky! They must've made no impression on me, though. Can't remember them. [:-~] Except for Lin Garden. Recommended. Drop in next time you're at Parkway Mall.

I think the environment in canada is too clean, thus the hakka food out here do not have the "Essential" flavours of tangra to taste as good ....[:))][:))]

So I see the entire above restaurant are owned and run by Indian born Chinese of hakka descend, is the restaurant serving westernized Chinese cuisine catered to Kwailor taste or a real authentic Hakka cuisine? There is just no place on earth other than Meizhou for Hakka cuisine in my opinion. Can someone name a hakka signature dishes from the above restaurant? Most Chinese restaurant in the West are; mixer of here and there Cantonese/mandarin/Szechwan cuisines, I think the most favorites signature dishes for kwailor are. Kungpao chicken, general tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken or Pork, moo goo gai bhan, egg fooyang, mooshu pork, egg rolls, pot stickers, yang chow fried rice and Chowmein. Kwailor just love them all gobbling it down with plenty of soy sauce and they usually licked the plate clean, here is all the best restaurant and dishes in Meizhou, i must say all are very good and delicious i tried them all [^] [^] http://www.asiawind.com/forums/read.php?f=1&i=7418&t=7418

Here's something completely different... a Hakka restaurant serving Malaysian, Thai and other Asian cuisines. [:-?] Drop in on a weekday and you might find more CG chatter there than in CG itself! [:))] http://www.indochinecuisine.ca Like the site? [;)] Guess who made it... [:I]
