Looking at this Part of the forums, Taiwan sure seem to be a great place for Indian Overseas !!!
Though there are many Indian Oversea's there who might consider moving to other places of the world, e.g. Canada, Australia, US .etc.
Taiwan Being the stepping stone out of india, How many Indian Oversea's in Taiwan consider making another step.
PS: Even if you are not in Taiwan, consider sharing your Opinion by voting. |

| No offence to anyone, not bragging, just what I think is the fact.
You have to consider what kind of people they are, are they university educated or not, it matters.
If you are university educated with the right degree, Taiwan can be a place to settle, even USA welcomes you with open arms.
The one advantage Canada got is it's welfare system which the blue-collar workers eye for, so many love to go to Canada.
Taiwan may be a stepping-stone to Canada for the IBCs, Singapore is the stepping-stone to Canada for the China-ese. They come to Singapore on scholarships and then apply to Canada, because they love the welfare, welfare gives people a sense of security.

Welfare ?? That's a thing of the past I believe.. I think it is now reduced to just CDN 600 from CDN 1,200 that too for just six months. That too, you have to go thru a lot of evaluations and surveys before you can qualify for it.
A million bucks in my bank account would make me feel more secure than a Government dictated Welfare Policy !! |
