As reported by Taipei Times, the US$10 million MoS in Neihu has an entrance big enough for a car to drive through, 8 bars,2 dance floors, 3 DJ booths, a VIP Macallan sky bar, a sunken lounge, 10 private rooms and enough room in the main arena to swing a trapeze artist. The club is slated to open in March.
Taipei's MoS is located on Lequn Third Road, Neihu district.

| Great news for clubbers out there, espc on the electronic scene. But it will be exciting to see if they will packup in a few yrs.
Why? MOS opened in BKK a few yrs back. It is closed now. Some ppl say it was becoz it was located in the outskirts of the city, or probably becoz of Thailands' requirement of clubs to close by 2am. And from this month, even more early, at 12am.
Taiwanese mostly likes hiphop and Top10 songs. It is disappointing to see they associate Trance with E. Thats' why you hardly find quality electronic clubs in Taipei. Most are E-clubs. The best one was 2F, they always have international jocks playing and the only club in Taipei to have vinyls and mixer.
But at the end, what happened? Cops did a crackdown on other e-clubs, trippers flocked to 2F and gave it a bad publicity. The reason other e-clubs can only be in bizness is becoz they are hand in gloves with the cops, run by the underworld. 2F couldnt do that ( I would guess). It is closed now.
So lets see what the huge MOS in TPE will fare. Hope the entrance aint' more than 500NTD.

time is the most important factor, Thailand clubs closing at 2am/12am is damn early, for some owl it is just the beginning of the nite, definitely MoS (bkk) closed not for other reasons.
certainly the entrance for MoS tpe will be more than NT$500, might be more than NT$700

And then Ferry Corsten in 25th June 04, his website says it will be held in 2F but I heard it is closed, so probably it will be in Luxy.
When FC was here 2 weeks back, he moved the whole club with his signature old tunes...my hand was swollen the next day after clapping the whole night.... so dont' miss it.

| Speaking of MOS..[8D]..oh boy, [<:-P]this is definately the best disco i have even been so far..!!..Entry fees were like NT$ 350 per head before 11pm and it shoots up to NT$ 800, per head after 11pm...I went there last time with some of my buddies and partied till 5am closing time..!!..[}:)]..The best part is that there are no under-age as they check your ID before entry..!!...[=P~] |
