Me, I'll migrate to Gmail completely when it's public, never mind the claims of, inter alia, Yahoo, Hotmail, Rediff and Spymac. Right now, you need invitations to sign up on Gmail.  |

They stuck to 2mb unless the last moment, thinking they would get away with it ? Customers aren't stupid.

Aventuremail.com - they offer 2GB storage and a beautiful interface with no ads (all for free). The worlds only 2GB free email service. But unfortunately, currently they not accepting new registration.

| wondering wat happened to the free 250mb to be provided by MSN?? Yahoo is more to its words than MSN...one reason why I prefer Yahoo than MSN... |

Did u guys heard that last time there was agian a bug in Hotmail which u can upgrade to 2 GB [:0]
I should have upgraded it immediately but i waited till the next day .... by then, it was already fixed [V]

| how i wish hotmail upgrade its meagre 2 mb storage space.coz thats my primarly email account,and that 2 mb disent even hold anything..BTW do any one if hotmail is pop or smtp enable or not |

You can connect to it in Outlook and Outlook Express. |

The news also arrived to me from a site that says "People having Australian MSN Messenger account have their inbox size increased to 125x"
Its now 250MB all for FREEˇK looks like Hotmail is racing along with GMail and MA K TOOB nail.<dunno what is ma k toob mail!!>===> check post below:

| I am still with 2Mb but who cares..... Hotmail has disappointed me, they were slow to jump the larger inbox bandwagon.

| Maybe I am wrong, but I think hotmail users who has the most traffic of receiving and sending emails get the upgrade.
How I came to this conclusion? Coz I got two hotmail accounts - one I barely use and the other very frequently and guess which one got the upgrade.
Like I said....I could be wrong.

Did you signup these two accounts at the same time? What is your MSN regional settings?
Mine is set to Taiwan. I believe they are upgrading region by region.

I click on the address below and then click on "go to hotmail" , when
i log in, my account became 250 MB. This is really interesting [^][>:D<]

That's not possible, may be they just upgraded yours before you logged in..[:)]
My region is still set to India, I don't think they will upgrade that region earlier..
I am guessing If you sign up for a new account, you will surely get 250mb, but who wants a new account just for that.. |

That sounds plausible - regional upgrade. One account (the one that got upgraded and that I use often) I have had for 7-8 yrs and the other I got last year. They are both set to Canada. |

| This morning, I checked my account and was surprised it had been upgraded to 250 mb. I feel much relieved now I dont have to delete my junk mails. [:I]

It's because I have MSN Plus subscribtion which i got it when there was a bug with the Verizon software. It will expire soon i guess, after one year.

| I'm still stuck with my darn 2MB [:(!]....hey Gates, when do u plan to upgrade your loyal fan's mailbox...I have been patronising your services since the day you bought Hotmail from Sabeer Bhatia....to be honest, I dont really give a damn anymore on the sizes of my email boxes (no body writes neways!!) and the only mails I receive everyday are junk porn mails (which have made me into a porn freak!![}:)]) which Microsoft try their best everyday to filter out as spam, but still these mails just ever so silently creep into my inbox and I can't help but click on them [}:)] |
