I feel every Christian should watch this movie. Its a great movie no doubt...but this is where we all learn that Jesus died for us and for our sins.
It was in the news last week that in America a man went to watch this movie....and after watching he went to the police and surrendered himself upto them .Confessing that he was the one who murdered a girl 19 years back.
I hope this will teach everyone of us to be what we are and not what we like to be.

| I know a lot here believe in HIM. It is good but this is my unbiased review of this movie.
This movie is gr8 for Christians only. It re-inforces their belief and make them to rethink how to spread the message of Christ.
For an atheist, this movie is slow and badly written. The scenes have been dragged at some places that I nearly dozed off, espc in the beginning.
Whether this movie is true to the Bible, I wouldn't know. Some critics say there can be two interpretations to the words in the Bible and Mel Gibson (a devote Christian) choose to be more radical.
Anyway, I didnt' get the gore that is been written online. Perhaps the Singaporean Censor Board has deleted those scenes.

Um, nopes, don't have a DVD player. But I've seen the DVD combined with two other movies for about 300 in Delhi. You could check out Tardeo AC market or Crossroad.
