What is your preference?
T-Shirts with patterns or T-Shirts with some wordings?
If you look at the photoalbum, some people love the shirts with wordings, probably expecting other people to read it.
For one, these words is to associate the owner with a organisation, and on ocassions it is cool. e.g. UCLA, Yale, Pistons, etc.
But then there are some t-shirts with longer sentences, like these: http://www.funny-tshirts.biz/
Personally, IMO, I feel such sentences have a kiddy feel. Proper attire for me would be patterns or plain shirts.

| i like tops which are plain,with patterns(not flowery) and striped.sometimes i throw in a few tops with words,but have to see what those words are....some of those tops look childish,prudish and plain stupid,but some are kinda kwel. |
